We're on the lookout for an experienced Head of Sales to join our team.

This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Head of Sales to join Leapwise, and contribute to our ongoing business growth, ensuring the success of our sales and business development efforts and looking to expand into other regions. As an essential part of our team, you will be the force behind outbound sales efforts and handling incoming inquiries.


You’ll manage and support new and existing client accounts,  nurturing long-term client relationships, as well as recognize potential opportunities for upselling. By working closely with our marketing, product, and engineering teams, you will have the opportunity to grow, innovate, and be a key part of global projects.


  • Leading sales, client relationship and growth areas.
  • Formulating, implementing, and overseeing sales strategies to increase market share and profitability specifically for the EU and US market.
  • Analyzing market trends and targeting key market segments, identifying competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform services and products development and enhancements.
  • Developing and executing sales plans and activities.
  • Effectively overseeing and fostering new and existing client relationships.
  • Driving outbound sales and managing incoming inquiries, identifying suitable clients at a global scale.
  • Managing and navigating pre-sales activities including communication customization, technical product information sharing, and delivering presentations.
  • Understanding the customer and its business needs, proposing optimal technical and business solutions.
  • Actively seeking possibilities for product upselling and cross-selling.
  • Establishing, managing, and structuring the sales team and providing guidance and support.
  • Managing and overseeing the sales recruitment process to ensure effective staffing.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with the engineering, marketing, and product teams, aligning with stakeholders on project objectives.
  • Driving the sales process, issuing software licenses, invoicing, and custom negotiation.

02Qualifications & experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in sales or relevant customer-oriented positions, preferably in the IT industry (software development and/or system integration).
  • 2+ years experience in Sales managerial roles.
  • Strong understanding of software development, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven record of B2B sales, ideally products and services.
  • At least a bachelor’s degree, ideally in engineering, technical or business fields.
  • Skilled in establishing and implementing budgets, proven track record of successfully driving commercial strategies and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, coupled with the capacity to effectively engage in interactions with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • A proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset with a highly disciplined approach to work.
  • Fluent in English and Croatian, both written and spoke.
  • Project management experience.
  • Familiarity with LookerStudio, CRM software, Hubspot and similar tools.
