WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're on the lookout for a Junior Java Software Developer

Our team would like to hire Junior Java Software Developer who would be mentored by our senior team members, a team player with a strong sense of accountability and determination. There is a genuine need for a person who is practical, proactive, and has an engineering mindset.

 

*For this position we are only considering candidates who are already based in Croatia.

01Qualifications & Experience

  • A strong, organized written and verbal communication in English
  • Genuine passion for clean software development and motivation to learn new technologies
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in IT, CS or related technical degree
  • Experience with Java/JEE and software design patterns
  • Experience in following and similar technologies/frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, Redisson, Camel, JMS (ActiveMQ)
  • Experience with Linux shell
  • Experience with databases (PostgreSQL and MongoDB)
  • Experience with testing Java applications, XML/JSON based web services
  • Experience in the Atlassian Suite (Confluence/JIRA)
  • Experience with build and dependency management tools, such as Maven/Gradle is a plus

02Your responsibilities

  • Become a part of a dynamic team responsible for implementing complex back-end systems
  • Take part in creative and challenging design assignments writing a clean and well-structured Java code by guidelines for code quality
  • Adhere to design principles and patterns, provision of technical documentation
  • Be actively involved in the continuous improvement of our software development processes
