As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the automation of all manual tasks, and for the building and deployment of both code and data to enable continuous integration and continuous deployment frameworks.

01Responsibilities

 

  • Researching, recommending, and implementing new technologies
  • Design and implement a robust and scalable software release platform
  • Lead end-to-end software release management processes, including planning, scheduling, coordinating, and tracking software releases
  • Identifying common solutions to specific requirements not covered by current conventions
  • Collaborating with developers, designers, QA, and product owners to analyze, design, and implement functionality in software products based on gathered business requirements
  • Experience with modern software development (Java/Scala)
  • Be the architectural focal for the Cloud infrastructure
  • Experience in version control systems and CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub etc.)
  • Experience with monitoring and diagnostic systems (e.g., Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
  • 3+ years of experience working with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
  • Implement monitoring solutions to track the performance and health of the release platform
  • Generate reports and metrics related to release cycles, lead time, deployment frequency, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve release effectiveness
  • Knowledge in coding or scripting for systems automation (Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Experience with containerization and clustering technologies (Docker, Kubernetes etc.
  • Strong experience with build automation, deployment automation, and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL)
  • Strong experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQTT)
  • Experience with network and system administration
  • Knowledge of the Linux operating system
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence

02Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience as DevOps
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (IT, Telecom)
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Ability to cooperate in a global environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of software development methodologies and release management practices.
  • Understanding Agile and Scrum
  • Understanding concepts around Continuous Integration and Continuous Deliver
